Teenage Pregnancy - Where Did We Go Wrong?

In the 1940's as well as 50's, if a star of the wedding became pregnant out-of-wedlock, she and the child's father was mandated to marry. Teenage girls who rejected to marry were forced out of our home so as not to cast shame on your family name. In order to remain a lady, society demanded that little girls and their future husbands wait till after they were forceful "man and wife" before indulging in sexual intercourse. Once only a was married, the marriage would be to be sealed forever. The closeness of nuclear family must have been a must for survival.

Divorce, something such as teenage sexuality, was often considered as an immoral act. American culture thrived on values throughout the years family system. Bonding throughout the years nuclear family was necessary for survival. Society instilled the actual conclusion hearts of parents that marriage is definitely a promise made before Jesus and man, and cannot broken. However, because in respect of changing values and societal differences, between 1966 as well as 1976, it appears the divorce rate had doubled. 1 / 2 the marriages ended on your divorce, which changed loads people's lifestyles. Housewives became head of households, working, paying bills, cruising, and raising children our-self, thereby, increasing single-parent slimmer.

The number of female-headed, single-parent family households increased this 70's and 80's. Therefore, the female anthem than ever before new area... "bringing appearance the bacon". Many teenagers today are products one example single-parent families. They also have the social repercussions individuals changing society, for analogy, child custody and visitation arrangements, child care operation, income maintenance, etc.

After becoming exposed and immune to this excellent lifestyle, teenage girls felt they could assume the responsibility of raising a family, favorable could remain in its parent's home. This lifestyle has changed societal values regarding relationships who had deepened their desire to adopt the principle of older freedom. Since adult women felt there is a right to live the type of lifestyles they desire, this attitude has infected the ideas of our young, innocent generation. Teenagers have embraced reality that they have as much directly to their preferred lifestyle as do their parents. Some girls have exaggerated this "right" contain premarital (and casual) gender, pregnancy, abortions and live-in relationships without parental knowledge. A sadder response is, that in many cases when parents become knowledgeable, they furnish their consent to retain the "unconditional love" they imagine were lost without giving contentment.

Families, children and society is in risk without competent and looking after compassionate community based credit bureaus. Agencies are needed to recover the family bond that once existed in this American society that include quality services to to get barriers that hinder particular growth, development and self-awareness and while providing education and insurance. Reuniting the family and encouraging teenagers for getting life as children as they stepping into the role to their parents could strengthen favorable cords of love simply the first step to reversing this vicious circle.
